House Needlepoint Purse: Supplies!

House Needlepoint Purse: Supplies!

Well, folks, It's happening! We're having a stitch along for a needlepoint house purse. Our official start date is September 18th! I'll be sharing info here and through email as we prepare.

Make sure you're signed up for the stitch-along! You can sign up here. Only those signed up for emails will be entered to win our weekly prizes and receive the weekly tutorial.

Ok, let's chat supplies. You can download a printable supply checklist here, and I'll list supplies in this post. I'd love to encourage you to seek out secondhand supplies for this project. You don't need much yarn for each color, so secondhand and scrap yarn would do nicely! Here's a very helpful resource of secondhand craft shops across the United States. And your local thrift stores are a great source, too!

Before we get to the supply lists, for more ideas you can check out my Pinterest board of inspiration here

I will be offering a limited number of supply kits, but they will NOT include yarn or lining fabric. There will be plastic canvas, needles, and needle threaders. Keep an eye on your email for when those drop.

"And when the heck will we get the pattern??" Soon! I'm working on it. The full pattern will be available in a few weeks, I'll distribute it via email to those signed up for the stitch-along. This is the first pattern I've written and designed, so there's a learning curve I'm climbing.

Ok, to the supply list! Download a printable version of this list here
