I don't want to be one of those old man yells at cloud types, but do you ever feel like clothing used to be made better? These days I feel like I can look at a shirt and it'll come undone at the seams. My conspiracy theory is that clothing companies are doing the bare minimum and just hoping we don't notice. And, it's working. Nowadays people just expect that their jeans will start tenting at the knees and their tshirts will look scrumpled after a few washes.
The only way I know how to tell what's put together well is because I've spent the last few years learning how to sew. I know a good seam from a bad because I've produced plenty of both. But, who has the time (or the space) for that! The only reason I did is because it was a pandemic hobby, lol.
This zine is meant to help you find clothing that'll actually last, no toiling behind a serger needed. I've laid out tips and information for fabric, seams, hems, and more. I hope you'll find it useful.
